This was my submission for the great contest “World Collabs #4″ at abduzeedo. Unfortunately I was not under the first places but it was a cool chance to create a work with the starting material by someone else.

The unique style by N1ko is really fascinating. His abstract method to compose his pictures let you explore so many details. Lot of them give the work a modern character and arouse interest to see more of this great stuff.

I tried to use new techniques to create another piece of my digital works. My goal was to make a look like a painting but with a abstract style. I’m quite satisfied with the result and think that I will apply this method again in future projects.

I’m really fascinated if I can see how people creates their digital works. To see it in timelapse is much more impressive. All the details and different techniques which use the artists are stunning. Here are 12 great examples you should keep an eye on.

Hengki24 is a very talented photographer from Indonesia. His beautiful and very special pictures show the fascination of details but also the unique atmosphere of different landscapes. Also the format as a square is not really usual and remembers me at vinyl or CD cover.

Studio 215, a mash of visual effects and motion graphics students, makes fictitious rebrand for Cartoon Network. The station ID suggests a network for cartoons, and yet, they find this is no longer to be the case! In a time when the economy is rough and work scarce, even toons seem to be losing their jobs and they at Studio 215 say “Keep toons at work!”

Let me introduce the amazing artist Russ Mills from Kingsbridge, United Kingdom. His work dwells in a netherworld between urban fine art and contemporary graphics, a collision of real and digital media. It is primarily illustration based with a firm foundation in drawing. He focus mainly on the human form particularly the face, interweaving elements from the animal kingdom often reflecting the absurdity of human nature.
