The Silverstone Wing from INK on Vimeo.

Direction and production of a fully animated CG film for Silverstone Race Circuit.

INK were commissioned by Silverstone to produce a high definition fully animated CG film promoting the new pit, paddock and race facilities. The building, known as ‘The Wing’, will be launched this coming spring.

The final outcome was inspired by traditional automotive advertising, with the aim to treat the building as an iconic super car, capturing the character through light, form and surface, whilst paying homage to the essence of motorsport. Wide and epic shots were used to communicate the striking form of the building, whilst delicately tracked 2D titles delivered the key messages.
